Ed Kelce knows exactly what kind of birthday gift to get a billionaire.
During Thursday’s episode of the “Baskin & Phelps” podcast, Travis Kelce’s dad shared what kind of birthday gift he would get for his son’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, ahead of her 35th birthday.
“Trying to buy Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason [Kelce] and Travis a present. There’s nothing they want that they don’t already have,” the dad of two said.
“There’s nothing that they’re thinking they might get, that they haven’t already figured out. … You can’t go that route. You have to look beyond there. You have to … dig down and come up with something special.”
Ed said the amount of money someone could spend on a present for someone like the “Bad Blood” singer is “meaningless.”
“You’re not going to impress Taylor Swift with a gift that costs $100,000,” he noted.
“But get something that twists the strings of her heart that you spent 10 bucks on and she’ll just be all gooey. You gotta find something that triggers the emotions.”
Swift, who is turning 35 on Friday, has been spotted in Kansas City, Mo., ahead of her special day.
On Thursday, the Grammy winner was seen visiting the Children’s Mercy Hospital.
According to photos shared online, the pop star, who was decked out in a matching Miu Miu plaid skirt set, smiled as she sat next to a dog.
It’s unclear what birthday plans Swift will have with the Kansas City Chiefs star.
However, Page Six exclusively reported that Travis, 35, wanted to make her birthday “extra special” this year.
“This is a milestone birthday for Taylor so he wants to make it extra special,” a source told us earlier this month.
“Travis has only let a few of those closest to him know what he has in store for Taylor because he doesn’t want to ruin any surprises.”
The insider also told us that the tight end, who began dating Swift last summer, “has been shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now.”
Our source said Travis is not a last-minute shopper “so he’s been picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance.”
“Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like,” the insider added.
“Travis makes sure to always listen even when Taylor doesn’t realize he is.”
