TRAVIS KELCE sent a message to Taylor Swift after she showed support for the Kansas City Chiefs star.
The three-time Super Bowl champion showed his appreciation for his girlfriend after setting a new NFL record.
Kelce became the fastest Tight End in NFL history to reach 12,000 career receiving yards, doing so in 172 games.
The Chiefs shared a post on Instagram to mark the milestone, and it was ‘liked’ by Taylor.
Jason Kelce brought it up on an episode of his podcast with his brother, New Heights, as they answered fan questions.
Kelce said: “Thanks Tay, I appreciate you.
Asked if Taylor is a fan of Tight End receiving guards, Kelce coyly responded: “I’m not sure that’s a good question, maybe I don’t know.
“I’m not sure if shes a fan of Tight Ends of not, I’d have to ask her.”
The brothers also spoke about relationships with Jason offering advice, though he admitted he was not an expert.
Kelce quickly interjected to clarify: “Yes but also two very happy in relationships.”
Kelce, 35, has been a great servant for the Chiefs but some NFL experts believe it is time for the franchise to move on.
Kelce is having the worst season of his professional career, and the Chiefs are slowly starting to use other options in the offense.
Fellow Chiefs tight end Noah Gray is getting touches in big situations, scoring four touchdowns to Kelce’s two.
Athlon Sports’ Luke Easterling predicted that the Chiefs select Bowling Green tight end Harold Fannin Jr. in the 2025 draft.
“It’s time for the Chiefs to start planning for life after Travis Kelce, who will turn 36 next October,” Easterling wrote this week.
“One of the best kept secrets in this year’s class, Fannin is putting up ridiculous numbers this season, and his athleticism and versatility would make him the ideal understudy for Kelce.
“Giving Patrick Mahomes another explosive weapon at tight end would be a huge win.”
‘Well-talked-about personal life’
But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cagey response.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce told GMA.
“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off that way when I’m playing football.
“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road.
“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”
Fannin is having a spectacular season at Bowling Green and has doubled the amount of yards Kelce has produced this season.
In 12 games, Fannin has 1,342 yards and nine touchdowns.
In comparison, Kelce has 682 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games.
