The Faith Fight Finish (FFF) Foundation was established by NFL quarterback Dak Prescott following the tragic death of his mother from cancer. Motivated by her memory and the struggles she faced, Prescott has dedicated himself to creating an organization that supports individuals undergoing cancer treatments. The foundation aims to provide resources and assistance to those in need, ensuring they receive the care and support necessary to fight their battles.
He recently shared a video on the Cowboys’ social media platforms, where he talked about the foundation’s story and impact. In the video, Prescott explained how a donation from head coach Mike McCarthy enabled the foundation to provide early cancer detection screenings for the entire Cowboys coaching staff and operations team.
This initiative aligns with the foundation’s commitment to promoting health and early intervention. One of the beneficiaries of this early detection program was Tad Carper, the Senior VP of Cowboys Communications. In the video, Carper shared his gratitude and personal story.
The Dallas Cowboys announced Dak Prescott as their nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award for 2022 and 2023. One of the league’s most prestigious honors, this award recognizes an NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field.
The unprecedented challenges of the past few years have inspired Prescott to expand the mission of his Faith Fight Finish (FFF) Foundation. FFF now focuses on: cancer research, mental health and suicide prevention, bridging the gap between law enforcement and the communities they serve, and offering assistance to those facing life-challenging hardships.
