Alix Earle has been accused of ‘failing’ the ’30 Hard’ lifestyle challenge that saw her vowing to cut out alcohol for a month – after she was seen partying while cheering on her NFL boyfriend, Braxton Berrios.
The party-loving influencer, 23, revealed she quit drinking at the start of 2024 and would be partaking in the viral trend, known as the ’75 Hard,’ starting in the New Year – but instead of doing it for 75 days, she was going to stick to it for a month.
However, Gen Z’s queen bee seems to have given up on the trend just two weeks in after she took to TikTok to vlog her experience braving the cold to support Braxton, 28, at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dolphins game – where eagle-eyed fans spotted the star with friends taking shots around her and an empty wine glass in front of her.
Viewers have now slammed the TikTok sensation for not being able to ditch booze for one month and claimed she was ‘hungover’ the day after the game.
Alix was called out for failing the lifestyle challenge after people on the web spotted several clues that she had been indulging in alcohol in her recent videos.
She shared footage of herself bundling up for the football game before hopping on a private jet with some of her pals to support her boyfriend.
While on the private plane, Alix revealed the group munched on salads before showing fans the stunning view from the plane.
When she turned the camera around, fans spotted an empty wine glass in front of her.
After arriving at the stadium, the influencer spoke about the suite she cheered on her boyfriend from.
‘The vibe of the stadium was a lot of fun. We had a bunch of food in there and I was with all the other Dolphins girls. The windows kept freezing over so we had to wipe them down,’ Alix said.
‘We were giving shots through the window and having so much fun but I have no idea how they were out there playing in the cold.’
‘Everyone was partying, it was a great time,’ she added as she showed footage of her friends cheering on the athletes while holding up cups of alcohol.
At the end of the clip, the TikTok sensation revealed she was happy she would be able to spend more time with her boyfriend now that the season was over.
Fans began suspecting the 23-year-old may have had a drink or two after her original vlog.
However, when Alix shared a follow-up video of herself the day after the game, viewers were convinced she was ‘hungover.’
In the video, the social media star revealed she slept until 3pm and thought it was ’10am’ when she woke up.
People on the web flooded the comments section and criticized her for not sticking to the challenge.
One person said: ‘She definitely still been drinking lmao.’
Another user commented: ‘You look hungover.’
‘Dry January fail,’ someone else added.
‘Looks like she couldn’t last the 30 day no alcohol y’all… 30 days… 30 days…,’ one commenter wrote.
‘Because you’re hungover,’ a fifth person said.
However, Alix has yet to confirm if she had a drink or not while cheering on her boyfriend.
The day after the game, she said: ‘Now have to 30 hard, rise and shine.’
Alix first shared that she was partaking in the lifestyle challenge on January 2.
Created by American entrepreneur and podcast host Andy Frisella, the 75 Hard forces participants to cut out unhealthy habits and foods by using a set of strict rules to regulate everything from what they eat and drink to how often they hit the gym.
Alix explained in her TikTok that partaking in the challenge meant she wouldn’t be allowed to drink any booze.
She also said she was going to consume a gallon of water daily, and participate in two 45-minute workouts every day – one indoors and one outdoors.
In addition, the 23-year-old added that was going to focus on making her own meals rather than eating out, and spending 30 minutes a day writing in her journal.
‘I’ve decided I can’t do the 75 Hard but I’m gonna try the 30 Hard,’ Alix said in the clip.
‘For the New Year, I wanted to do something and 75 days just seems, like, really long. But we’re gonna do 30 days and basically I’m gonna vlog every day of it if anyone wants to join me.
‘Basically, the rules are a gallon of water a day, two workouts a day for 45 minutes each, one outside and one indoors, and no alcohol.’
Due to the star’s very open love of partying, many people on the web were stunned over her decision to eliminate alcohol for 30 days – and her original TikTok video about it was flooded with comments from people who shared their disbelief.
